Michelle joined us in November 2015. Michelle started her career as an apprentice bricklayer for a social housing provider at the age of 16 where she became the youngest advance craft qualified bricklayer in Great Britain. She has worked in the social housing sector for more than 22 years.
Michelle has varied experience in the housing sector, primarily in a property related environment. Past roles include: surveying, managing adaptations, change and project management. She also established an in-house repairs team for a 16,000 strong association in 2009.
Michelle is commercially focused and fully qualified in building services, management and surveying. Michelle’s core strengths centre around people and change management, influencing increased performance by streamlining processes to gain efficiencies and delivering value for money.
