WORK STARTS ON BUXTON SPECIALIST SUPPORTED HOUSING SCHEME

  • 10 November, 2016

We’re delighted to have started work on our latest scheme in Buxton, Derbyshire that will see vulnerable people living as independently as possible.

Dale Valley View, on Dale Road, is a £3 million private development consisting of 15 specialist apartments. The homes, which will be of high quality, have been commissioned and adapted for adults with learning and physical disabilities, who will also benefit from support staff on site.

The Mayor of High Peak, Coun George Wharmby, was on hand to open the official groundbreaking ceremony, alongside the MP for Buxton, Andrew Bingham, and other councillors.

The apartments are the result of a partnership between Inclusion Housing, a community interest company, and the Lifeways Community Care organisation. They are being delivered by us at HB Villages, a leading developer of supported housing, and built by contractors, Carey Group.

Alastair Sheehan, of HB Villages, said:
“This is the first development of its kind in the High Peak area and will provide a safe environment for vulnerable adults to call home. We look forward to meeting the tenants once it is completed.”
