Inclusion Housing receives compliant regulatory grading from the Regulator of Social Housing

  • 10 June, 2026

Inclusion Housing has received a compliant G2 V2 regulatory grading by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). It is the first predominant lease based provider to be awarded a compliant governance and viability rating by the RSH despite Government prediction that ‘it is currently hard to see how a provider of SSH which is substantially financed by long-term leases and subsequent tight margins can meet the requirements of the Governance and Financial Viability Standard.’ (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/lease-based-providers-of-specialist-supported-housing/lease-based-providers-of-social-housing 5.23)

Inclusion Housing has and continues to be a well governed, exceptional and viable company that delivers ‘More Good’ year on year through award winning services, annual financial surpluses, alongside sector beating average annual growth since 2015 whilst helping the most vulnerable in society access a home of their own every day of the year for the last 11 years. The overdue award of a compliant rating is extraneous to the decade + long track record of success, growth, achievement, accreditations and awards whilst outperforming the social housing market; however, we know it will be welcomed by our numerous partners and stakeholders.

Inclusion Housing has throughout the last eleven years achieved stronger finances, exceptional productivity, more value for money, delivered top 3% tenant satisfaction while providing multi-million pound social impact benefits through the supply of over 5000 new social housing units, whilst financially out-performing numerous G1 V1 providers. We look forward to further demonstrating the inherent talent, strong organisation, sound stewardship and progressive leadership that has made Inclusion Housing the most important, disruptive and influential supported housing provider in the country, in order to achieve our much deserved highest viability and governance rating.

We would like to thank John Halford at Bindmans and Nik Grubeck at Monckton Chambers for their most excellent counsel, advice and representations in regard to this matter, as well as Simon Chisolm and Aaron Dolgoff at Charles Rivers Associates for their expert/ forensic financial and market analysis reporting.
